5 Litres of ultra pure, distilled water delivered to your door

10% discount automatically applied - Only £7.16 on orders of 5+

Our 5 litre Distilled Water drum is economical, yet easy to carry and pour. It comes complete with a tamper-evident screw cap. Our 5 litre drum offers a balance between value, storage and ease of handling. It is suitable for regular household, workshop and light commercial use where smaller bottles run out too quickly but a full 25-litre container would be difficult to lift or store.

These 5 litre Distilled Water drums are made from food-grade HDPE (high density polythene), which is recyclable and does not contain BPA (an industrial chemical used in some plastics that can leach out and cause health issues).

This ultra-pure Distilled Water is perfect for home use in steam irons, CPAP machines and home-made cosmetics or making colloidal silver. It contains under 1ppm impurities and has been UV-sterilised to kill bacteria and viruses.

Up to 5 of our Distilled Water drums will fit in a box for the same shipping cost. A 10% discount is automatically applied to full boxes of five drums. We recommend storing our 5 Litre Distilled Water in a cool, dark place and consuming within 2 months.

Common uses for 5 litres of distilled water

  • Appliances affected by mineral scale.
  • Humidification and CPAP equipment.
  • Cleaning and spot-free rinsing.
  • Plants and specialist hobbies.
  • Cosmetic or technical formulation.
  • Workshop and light laboratory use.

Purity, production and quality

Our distilled water is made using a six-stage purification process. The feed water is filtered, treated with activated carbon and passed through reverse osmosis before entering our stainless-steel distillers. It is then boiled, with the steam captured and condensed back into water, before a final mixed-bed ion-exchange polishing stage.

Purity is measured in parts per million (ppm), which indicates the amount of dissolved material remaining in the water. Our finished water has a maximum specification of under 1 ppm and we check the purity of every batch. The actual ppm result is shown on each drum.

The water is also held in a food-grade tank with continuous UV disinfection. UV treatment helps control microorganisms in the water. Read more about our six-stage production process and purity checks.
